At last, we have some big juicy news to get our hungry chainsaws plunged into. Wyck Godfrey, (producer of Eragon, AVP, I Robot), has spoken out about the Gears adaptation for the big screen:
“We’ve got our script on and a director we’re about to attach. We’ll hopefully make [the Gears of War movie] early next year for the summer of 2010.”

Bruce Willis doesn’t portray Marcus, Bruce Willis is more…… Lieutenant Kim. Bobby Lashly should be Cole, especially because he makes his voice in both games. I think John DiMaggio should be Marcus ‘cus he’s the only man in show business that can make his voice correctly. Dom should be played by Chris Ferro, he just needs to work out more. And Baird………..he can be played by Fred Tascitore, he just needs to loose weight and cut his hair.
Hopefully Godfrey wont fuck up this movie like he did to eragon.
