CliffyB has been talking to the media about the status of the Gears of War movie again, which is something we are always very happy to see. The good news? The film is very much alive (despite the writers strikes it seems), so he tells Cineplex Entertainment:
“We are currently at the point where we have had a couple drafts of the script and now we are talking to different directors and trying to feel out who would be the best fit for it,”
“It has been a really fascinating process to learn how Hollywood works. [...] I just hope that whatever comes out of this is compelling entertainment and is very representative of the ‘Gears of War’ universe.”

this movie should be tied in with the recently released cloverfield seeing the plot would tie in together perfectly and the monsters lok just about identical.
I think this is a brilliant idea, it should be like the original game especially including the grotesque violence…..
I just have to say that its a great idea but they really need good actors that actually looks like the chars from the games.. I mean i would not love to see i Brad Pitt as Marcus..! Then its not even worth seeing
if theres really gonna be a movie… why isnt there some sort of trailer already? i mean… the rumor started last year about a movie, the least they could do for us is show us proof… that is… if its true.
hey wats up i’m new 2 GOW but i think it’s the best game ever and seeing it in a movie would be awsome the gore violence mindless killing XD but yeah just like the other guy said we gatta have some pretty good actors…….no little twig like people and all prettyed up we need mean and nasty lookin guys…. but the number 1 rule is no thick red syrup blood thx
